When Scotia began trading in 1983 there were just 10 employees and during our 35 year history we have increased our workforce to 188 dedicated and knowledgeable staff, whose focus is to provide first-class customer service and high-quality windows and doors to our valued customers.
Our production facility, head office and show room is based in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, and we have grown substantially over time to cover a wider geographical area with additional showrooms in Glasgow, Hamilton, and Alloa. Our manufacturing capacity has also increased from 60 to 1,300 windows per week, making us one of Scotland’s largest window manufacturers. Our team of experienced fitters carry out over 10,000 installations per year throughout the whole of Scotland.
Scotia originally began manufacturing and installing PVC-u windows and doors for the domestic market, and we have since expanded this service to commercial contractors. We also supply our high-quality products to 15 of Scotland’s largest house builders, and direct to trade.
During 1996 we took the opportunity to supply and install Swish low maintenance roofline systems for homes. Scotia provides a complete range of PVC-u fascias, soffits, bargeboards, guttering and cladding which provide an attractive, durable, weather-proof seal to protect your home from the inclement Scottish climate.
In 2016 we decided to further develop our product offering to include superb quality aluminium doors and windows, and so began our partnership with Internorm who are recognised as providing the highest quality composite aluminium windows and doors in Europe. Internorm by Scotia has supplied and installed aluminium doors and windows for a wide range of domestic, commercial and retail clients.
