featuring a unique design utilising an ingenious locking system which by turning the handle 180 degrees allows the window to open in to your home, almost like a door which may be hinged on the left or right-hand side. From the closed position the handle may be moved a further 90 degrees and the window will tilt back into the property to provide ventilation. Tilt and Turns are based on continental window designs where windows open inwards, often with shutters externally.
The Trade Tilt and Turn range features 70mm frame depth for strength and security and is reinforced to our system supplier’s specification. The range are security glazed from inside and incorporate a 28mm sealed unit. Our fully reversible is one of the few on the market which has managed to achieve a BFRC Window Energy Rating “A” Rated which is available as an optional extra.

BFRC issue window energy ratings based on the specification of each individual window we produce.
The ratings are produced in the form of a label with the best rating band being “A” to the poorest performing band “G”. When Scotia replace your existing domestic windows we are providing you with a Band “A” window as standard.
Scotia has a number of products which have been assessed by Secured by Design and are proud to confirm that these products exceed the requirements. If we are replacing your windows these features will be fitted as standard.
Our product is also manufactured to the prestigious BS 7412 Kitemark Standard covering the performance and durability of our products and for those that wish to incorporate the very latest security features our fully reversible can be upgraded to an Enhanced Security Standard PAS 24: 2016 /Secured by Design (SBD).

Our Trade tilt & turn range may be manufactured to really large opening sizes so provide a first -class solution for easy internal cleaning of the external glass surfaces, an emergency exit escape which can be fitted with child-safe safety features.
The Trade Tilt & Turn windows are made from impact modified PVC-u and are available in standard white, rosewood, cherry, rosewood/white and cherry/white however a wider range of almost 15 colour combinations are available for special orders in quantities as low as two frames.
