Hunter Conservatories & Sunrooms – Trade

Scotia Windows and Doors have developed a strong trading partnership with Hunter Conservatories & Sunrooms over the past 6 years.

Hunter Conservatories & Sunrooms are based in Dundonald, Ayrshire, and have created a successful business building conservatories, sunrooms, extensions and undertake an increasing number of garage conversions each year.

They offer a complete service from start to finish including design, planning, building warrants and construction, and use their own tradesmen to complete the projects. A key component is the supply of windows and doors, and Les Houston, Managing Director of Hunter Conservatories & Sunrooms, trusts Scotia Windows and Doors.

The majority of Hunter clients are in the domestic market, although they recently undertook a commercial project for the Riverside Lodge Hotel in Irvine. Scotia supplied 153 windows which were ordered in two stages – 128 windows were supplied for the first instalment, and a further 25 windows were ordered with only a one week lead time in time for a wedding!

Les established his construction business in 2012 and was previously an employee of Scotia. He started working at Scotia as a joiner and sub-contractor, and in 1991 became a consultant for domestic installations. With his existing established working relationship Les chose Scotia to supply quality windows and doors.

“I have worked closely with Scotia for a number of years as both a contractor and a customer, and I trust Scotia to supply quality windows and doors. Our recent project with the Riverside Lodge Hotel required a super-fast turnaround and Scotia delivered on time to meet my short lead time. Scotia’s lead times are first class.“

Les Houston, Managing Director.
