Our casement windows are manufactured using 70mm frame depths and are fully reinforced to our system supplier’s recommendations. The range are security glazed from inside and incorporate a 28mm sealed unit. Our casement window is one of the few on the market which has managed to achieve a BFRC Window Energy Rating to a superb +7 “A” Rated standard and this upgrade is available as an optional extra.
Our product is also manufactured to the prestigious BS 7412 Kitemark Standard covering the performance and durability of our products and for those that wish to incorporate the very latest security features our fully reversible can be upgraded to an Enhanced Security Standard PAS 24: 2016 /Secured by Design (SBD). A complimentary range of handles are available to select and combine with our internal finishing options.

BFRC issue window energy ratings based on the specification of each individual window we produce.
The ratings are produced in the form of a label with the best rating band being “A” to the poorest performing band “G”. When Scotia replace your existing domestic windows we are providing you with a Band “A” window as standard.
Scotia has a number of products which have been assessed by Secured by Design and are proud to confirm that these products exceed the requirements. If we are replacing your windows these features will be fitted as standard.
Our Commercial casement windows range can be manufactured incorporating outward opening side hung sashes or top opening sashes over fixed and even large, single top hung sashes which can be combined to create ideal design. They can be designed to look modern and sleek and at the same time ensure that you have plenty of ventilation, a safe means of escape in the event of an emergency.
