Our Trade PVC-u Vertical sliding sash is available in two beautiful ranges, the Classic and the Vintage range.

Classic Designs

The Trade Classic range is designed to replicate many traditional sash features und utilises a fully reinforced 147mm frame depth with fusion welded joints (except where continuous horn and deep bottom rail are selected). The Classic has our most energy efficient WER “A” rating as standard and many additional features may be added to ensure that you can select a made to measure sash window and include the features which are most important to you. Our Classic range is available as standard in plain white PVC-u, with an option add white wood grain foiled

Vintage Range

The Trade Vintage range is slightly more expensive however the styling and design replicates so many of the features which you’ll find in original Victorian sash design. Our Vintage Range is available as standard in white wood grain foil and antique cream wood grain foiled. Our Vintage frames are 133m in depth, fully reinforced to in both the outer frame and the opening sashes and are manufactured to a Secured by Design standard.

COLOUR PROFILE OPTIONS

Coloured profiles represent a fast growing market as more and more homeowners seek something a little different.

For them basic white just isn’t right. They also demand a wider range of colour and finish options than ever before. Here at Scotia, we can give you a wide choice of colours without the usual huge increases in price.

WINDOW ENERGY RATING

BFRC issue window energy ratings based on the specification of each individual window we produce.

The ratings are produced in the form of a label with the best rating band being “A” to the poorest performing band “G”. When Scotia replace your existing domestic windows we are providing you with a Band “A” window as standard.

SECURE BY DESIGN

Scotia has a number of products which have been assessed by Secured by Design and are proud to confirm that these products exceed the requirements. If we are replacing your windows these features will be fitted as standard.

Timberweld®

The key differences from our Classic range is that our Vintage range is finished as standard with a woodgrain foiled finish which is designed to replicate a natural painted wooden finish which is used in conjunction with the patented Timberweld® manufacturing process.

This lovingly re-creates a traditional butt joint on all the internal and external frame surfaces, ensuring that all the edges of the frame are completely sealed. The Timberweld® joint will blend in with either Georgian or Victorian architectural styles and can be suitable for use in conservation areas and contemporary developments.
